Business (also known as the company or the company) is an organization that engaged in trade in goods, services, or both for the consumer. Businesses are predominant in capitalist economies, where most of them owned and managed to get the advantage to increase the wealth of its owner. Businesses can also be not-for-profit or State-owned. Businesses owned by a few individuals may be referred to as a company, though that term also has a meaning which is more appropriate.

The etymology of “business” has to do with the way things are busy either as individuals or society as a whole, doing work that is commercially viable and profitable. The term “business” has at least three usages, depending on the scope-single use means a specific organization; common usage refers to a particular market sector, “music business” and compound forms such as agribusiness; and a broad meaning, which includes all activities by the public purveyors of goods and services. However, the exact definition of business, like much else in the philosophy of business, is a matter of debate and the complexity of meanings.

The owner was involved in the administration of the business either directly or indirectly through the job manager. The owner or Manager of the hiring manager, managing the resources of the three components constituting the business value or worth: financial, capital resources or resources that are real, and human resources. This resource is assigned to the functional areas of at least five: contract law, manufacturing or production services, marketing, accounting, financing and resourcing of man.
